In the Import file from your computer dialog to the right of File Operation; tick the Extract Libs option and EasyEDA will extract all of the libs from the Schematic files or PCB Files. So, if you want to import Altium Designer’s Libs, you can add them to your Altium Designer Schematic or PCB and then extract them again into your EasyEDA library. Usually, PCB files are considered Data Files. However, you can look up the file type to be sure. Start by right-clicking the file icon and clicking “Properties” (“More Info” if you’re on a Mac). Then look for the file type under “Type of File” (“Kind” on a Mac).
TO USE 'SMART OPEN': From the Unisoft software click FILE from the main menu, click SMART OPEN and a new window opens. In the new window browse to and select the directory that your project CAD or Gerber files are located in. A new window opens and select one of the files presented and your PC Board will be displayed. Most PCB files can be viewed with two known software applications, typically CadSoft EAGLE developed by Autodesk, Inc. And associated with the Printed Circuit Board Design File format as it's primary file type. PCB files are categorized ordinarily as Data Files. The PCB File Extension can be viewed on the Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
Pick the Right Program
Start by choosing the right program to open your SCH file. A few of the most common programs used to open SCH files are listed below. One of them should be able to open your SCH file.
- XML Schema
- PSpice Schematic
- PCB Artist PCB Artist
- Schedule+ File
- P-CAD Schematic File
- OrCAD Schematic File
- EAGLE Layout Editor Schematic File
- FTP Voyager Scheduled FTP File Transfer
- Xlinix Foundation Schematic
- Designer Schematic Capture Binary File
- Tina Pro for Windows V6.0+ Package Schematics
Note the File Type
Other programs may be able to open your SCH file, depending on the type of file it is. You can find the file type listed in the file’s properties. On a Windows PC, right-click the file, click 'Properties', then look under “Type of File.” On a Mac computer, right-click the file, click “More Info,” then look under “Kind”.
Tip: If it’s the SCH file extension, it probably falls under the Settings Files type, so any program used for Settings Files should open your SCH file.
Ask the Developer
Contacting the software developer is another easy way to get help opening a SCH file. You can find the developers for the most common programs used to open SCH files in the list below.
|XML Schema||Windows Programmer|
|PSpice Schematic||Cadence Design Systems Inc.|
|PCB Artist PCB Artist||Advanced Circuits|
|Schedule+ File||Microsoft Corporation|
|P-CAD Schematic File||Altium Limited|
|OrCAD Schematic File||Cadence Design Systems Inc.|
|EAGLE Layout Editor Schematic File||CadSoft Computer GmbH|
|FTP Voyager Scheduled FTP File Transfer||Rhino Software Inc.|
|Xlinix Foundation Schematic||Microsoft Developer|
|Designer Schematic Capture Binary File||Altium Limited|

Use a Universal File Viewer
When all else fails, a universal file viewer is the best way to open a SCH file. Programs like File Magic (Download) can open many different types of files, depending on the format. Although, some files may not be compatible with these programs. If your SCH file isn’t compatible, it will only open in binary format.
PowerPoint add-ins help in adding new capabilities that can polish your presentation in many ways. But when the time comes to uninstall theseadd-ins for whatsoever reason, you might be surprised to find their menu customizations, such as buttonsthat represent add-in features still exist! Click those menu extensions and nothing may happen, but these menu options are still there!
In another scenario, you may have customized your PowerPoint menus and toolbars to a large extent. Now, you want to restore everything to apristine state, almost like how the interface looked when you first installed PowerPoint.
In either case, it is possible to lose all these customizations. The key to this solution lies in PCB files. So what's a PCB file? Let's learnmore.
Train sim free. Play Fullscreen Train Simulator is a cool railway locomotive driving game that simulates the work of a train driver and of course you can play this game online and for free on Silvergames.com. Working as a train operator in 2017 is not as easy as it seems. You can experience it yourself with this incredible and free 3D train driving simulator.
A PCB file is a PowerPoint Settings file where PowerPoint stores every customization you make within the program interface. These customizations include the appearance of new add-in menus and toolbars.
Whenever PowerPoint launches, it looks for this PCB file within a typical location:
Read Pcb Files
If no PCB file is found, PowerPoint creates a new one! In other words, PowerPoint restores all defaults. Therefore, this creation of a new PCBfile can be put to advantage. First, we need to rename or delete the errant PCB file. Follow these steps to do so:
Pcb File Types
- Make sure PowerPoint 2016 is closed. Then navigate to the path mentioned below:
- Substitute <UserName> with the user name set for your computer.
- Within this folder, you will find a PCB file, as shown in Figure 1 below. You may see more than one PCB file here,and this happens if you have multiple versions of Microsoft Office installed on your system. For PowerPoint 2016, the file you need will be namedPPT16.pcb or similar.
Figure 1: PCB file location
- Now, you can either delete the PCB file or you can rename it with a .bak or another extension. We highly recommendthat you rename rather than delete the file! For this example we will rename the file with a .bak extension, as shown inFigure 2 below. You can also always delete the PCB file later once a new PCB is created, and everything seems to be working well.
Figure 2: PCB file renamed
- Now, launch PowerPoint 2016. It might take a while to load since a new PCB file is being created. At this point of time, get back tothe original folder that contained the PCB file. You'll notice that a new PCB file has been created.
PowerPoint Versions and PCB File NamesThe file names of the PCBs indicate which version of PowerPoint they influence:
PPT16.pcb relates to PowerPoint 2016
PPT15.pcb relates to PowerPoint 2013
PPT14.pcb relates to PowerPoint 2010
Don’t see the PCB file extension? Your file extensions need to be made visible. To learn more, look at ourShow File Extensions tutorials.
Safely Working with PCB FilesAlways keep a backup copy of your PCB file. This backup file may come handy when you want to roll back PowerPoint's customizations to an earlierstage.
Also, never rename or delete a PCB file while PowerPoint is still open.
